It is filled with the Green Fairy, then, water is added. The Absinthe begins to mix with the water and louches in the bubble in swirls. The effect is really magical! Bubble glasses already existed in the Belle Époque era, the ALANDIA glass is inspired by these vintage originals. The glass itself is made out of high-quality, hand-blown borosilicate glass. Then slowly add ice-cold water. Watch how the Absinthe in the bubble magically louches in white clouds. Depending on your preference, you can add a sugar cube and perform the drinking ritual with a Brouilleur as seen in the video (the best preparation). Bubble glasses were made in the late 19th century (1880-1890). But they were never widely popular, and seem to have been discontinued by the early 1900s. Why? Maybe because of the difficulty in cleaning the bubble, especially when you prepare your Absinthe with sugar.
